Themed ‘Role of Film and Music in Uniting Global Africans,’ the event brought together key people in the music and film industries from Ghana and the US, sparking deep discussions, recognizing our shared heritage and common goals.
The thought-provoking panel discussions explored how film and music are vital in uniting us all, fostering mutual growth, prosperity and telling our own stories.
The incredible contributions from all the speakers like CEO One Music Festival, Jason Carter, Director Warner Music and Blavatnik Center for Music Business at Howard University, Jasmine Young, Musician, Trigmatic, Grammy-nominated Musician, Rocky Dawuni, Award-winning Actress/Producer, Juliet Ibrahim, Award-winning Actress/Prodcuer, Ama K. Abebrese, Film Director, Socrate Safo, Music Executive and Film Producer PY Addo-Boateng, Veteran Actress/Producer, AJ Johnson and Film and TV Director, Robert Hardy.
Together, we’re building bridges and telling our stories through film and music, connecting the diaspora and Ghana like never before.
The Beyond the Return campaign is all about a decade of African Renaissance, and this event was a shining example of how we can achieve greatness when we come together.
