Amrit Kaur Instagram – A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to study acting with my family @gracemoonarts in the Tobago inaugural retreat, piloted by Michèle Lonsdale•Smith.
This trip is the happiest I’ve been in years. Acting in front of the ocean, 🤯 (literally), living in community, eating roti, and running into a tribe of horses while doing animal work as a horse, ha! I don’t know if they understood what I was saying as I was knawwing on my knees in excitement, but it was mostly, holy shit!
I’ve watched this video, I don’t know, probably 50 times by now. Every time I watch it, I can’t believe I’m part of this community…and then I proceed to re-watch. I love watching and rewatching everyone’s work in this, filled with love for acting, regardless of where we are in the world. Hearing our coach tell us our job, “to match the ocean” – when I find myself so often caught up in the tides of life.
Anyways, I could go on and on, and really I’ll probably write a poem about the experience, but I mostly wanted to share this incredibly beautiful video created by @randallmross displaying so truly the acting and love work @gracemoonarts practices.
