Amrit Kaur Instagram – Happy Asian American Month, lovebugs. I think we are all, in a way, expressions of our histories. I wanted to share the pieces of Asian and Asian-American history made in the last couple years, inspiring the artist I am today and working to be tomorrow.

My father.
A man who taught me discipline, hard work, and smart work. He raised me with the importance of cultivating my intelligence as a woman. As a man surrounded by siblings who didn’t encourage that in themselves or their own daughters, he was an anomaly. Thank you for being ‘that rebel’, leading in the celebration of daughters.
