Chrissie Swan Instagram – Queen Task: Make Cheesecake Bars! These were so impressive in the end and I felt very up myself because of the way they look all swirly and marbley 😜 This Queen Natural Dark Choc Flavouring Paste is so chocolatey and so much easier to use than melting chocolate over a saucepan of water etc. Highly recommend a quick squeeze instead. Here’s the recipe folks! Side note: kids love the chopstick artistic part! 👩‍🎨 Cheesecake bars WHAT YOU’LL NEED: · 1 pack of digestives (I love McVitties!) · 80g butter, melted · 450g cream cheese, room temp · 115g caster sugar · 1 large egg · 2 tbsp flour · 1 tbsp of Queen Organic Vanilla Bean Paste · 1 tbsp of Queen Natural Dark Choc Flavouring Paste WHAT TO DO: 1. Preheat oven to 180ºC and grease up a 20x20cm pan. 2. Crush biscuits & add butter & mix until combined. 4. Press mixture into the bottom of pan and bake for 10 mins. 6. Beat cream cheese & sugar until well combined. 8. Beat in egg and Queen Organic Vanilla Bean Paste then the flour until well combined. 10. Divide the batter evenly into two bowls, flavouring one Queen Natural Choc Dark Flavouring Paste. 11. Dollop spoonfuls of the mixture over the base alternating between the flavours. 12. Using a chopstick, swirl through batter to create a marble effect. 13. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until cheesecake is set. 14. Remove from oven and cool completely on the counter. 15. Chrissie Swan Instagram – My kids have forbidden me to share this recipe as they think it’s the elixir of life but they’re at school so 💅🏼… This is how you make the best Chipotle mayo. The best. Chuck out the rest. Any of the tinned chipotle chillies pictured will work. Available at supermarkets. Go for one small can per jar (or two – depending on how spicy you like it) of Thomy mayo per small tin of chipotle chillies. So: 1 jar Thomy mayo:1 tin chipotle chillies in adobe sauce. OR 2 jars Thomy mayo: 1 tin chipotle chillies in adobe sauce (very mild but still deliciously smokey). Blitz the chillies in a food processor first, then scoop in the mayo and blitz again. Then pour/spoon it back into the mayo jar. We use this on everything Mexican – salads/wraps/nachos/chicken fillets/pulled pork and coleslaw rolls etc etc. It’s a fridge staple at my place as you can see by the 5 jars I made yesterday and when it runs out there is a mutiny. 😂 Not sure how long it keeps as we’ve never had an issue with it going off.
