Emily Barker Instagram – Officially 7 days left of my @madhotfit CUT ✂️

To be totally honest it wasn’t massively body weight that I wanted to lose I just wanted to establish a better routine and schedule with my food & my fitness 😇

My biggest challenges when trying to be in a routine are that I travel loads for work so making good food choices can be difficult, enjoy socialising at the weekends which usually involves nice food and can occasionally snack in the evenings. 🍔🌭🌮🌯 exercise is never really an issue for me as I’m at that stage where I enjoy it that much that it’s just like brushing my teeth in the morn, I have to do it because it’s part of my routine.

I’ve worked super hard over the last few months to get ready for these holidays I have coming up my biggest takeaways I’ve found from doing a cut and facing my own challenges are;

✈️ if you travel loads like me – plan your food in advance, look up the restataunts at the airport or take your food with you

🥂 socialising at weekends can be done, as long as it’s a planned event – being spontaneous during a cut isn’t massively feasible because it’s just too difficult to keep a track of the goal, but planning an OFF PLAN day is allowed

😴Snacking in the evenings is actually something I haven’t struggled with as much this time around – I used to skip breakfast a lot and that is often what prompted me to want to eat in the evenings because I was still hungry! But AGAIN allowing yourself to snack is a huge part of being in a CUT jusy planning it advance is the most important part!

– 14 days to go now until we set off on our holidays and I’m feeling proud of myself that I’ve planned this cut in advance, 17 year old me would have only ate lettuce leaves for 2 weeks before and worked out for 2 hours a day … in my thriving girl era 🫶🏼 | Posted on 13/Sep/2023 01:00:00
