Just because I’m on social media talking confidently about how I’ve gone from having an ED to now “loving” my body definitely doesn’t mean that I still don’t have days where I look at my body and don’t like what I see! 🥹
It definitely doesn’t mean that I feel like this all the time but I still definitely have days where I change my outfit 3 or 4 times just because I don’t feel confident in the clothes that I’ve planned to wear.
My top tips for when you’re having one of those days where you’re not liking what you see 🫶🏼
🤍1. Recognize negative thoughts and remind yourself they may not be accurate
🤍 2. Avoid comparing yourself to others
🤍3. Practice self-compassion and focus on your positive qualities
🤍4. Engage in activities that make you feel good about yourself
🤍5. Challenge negative thoughts and reframe them with positive statements
🤍6. Limit exposure to triggering content on social media or in media.
