This is a MOVEMENT not a MOMENT.
I keep telling folks this because agriculture, farming, gardening,houseplant care, and slow food are not just trends nor hobbies—people are honestly and faithfully returning to a real connection to the land. For black and brown communities or anyone who is of a demographic that is disproportionately affected by food insecurity, but often left out of the conversation for solution—this show is for you.
And for folks who are no longer reading because I just made this post “about race”—this show is for you. Because farming is about celebrating and accounting for differences in existence. The tomato doesn’t deny its redness, the sun doesn’t shade it’s own shine.
I cannot fully put into words what a beautiful experience it has been to be able to help farmers achieve their personal farm dreams across our country.
I truly feel like the planet needs more farmers but also more feel good visual experiences.
I’m sure that this tv show will serve as both.
