Shave your head, grow your hair out, dye your hair, keep it natural, quit your job, keep your job, change your career, change your style, change your name, follow me, unfollow me.. only you know what is best for you. People are going to judge you either way, so wouldn’t you rather be judged for being true to yourself? Not everyone is going to get it, and that’s ok. Not everyone is meant to. The people that love and support you unconditionally show up in your life when you are being real with yourself. So trust yourself more, be grateful for what you have, and make art from your heart. The best is yet to come ✌️🌻

People ask me if it’s hard to play the older songs now and I say no it’s actually easier and I connect with them at an even deeper level because I’m able to hold more space for those parts of myself that needed to be heard (like a mother and her child) and that enables the pain to be transmuted into light and liberation
