Welcome to the new school year.
FACT: Every child in America who starts the 2023-2024 school year will not survive and make it to the summer.
FACT: GUNS are the number one killer of kids and teenagers in the US.
FACT: There is currently more gun legislation in the US than ever before.
NONSENSICAL FACT LOOP: Despite all the gun legislation that the US currently has, GUNS ARE STILL THE NUMBER ONE KILLER OF KIDS AND TEENS IN AMERICA.
When do we get outraged, radicalized, unhinged about these facts? When do we try something different?
FACT: NOTHING has been working to protect our kids from American gun violence culture.
So @sairarao and I, along with thousands of others who care about protecting our kids more than protecting guns, have a suggestion.
And it’s way bigger than Denver.
