But the highlight of the fair was watching Charlie eat his twisty cone. Seriously… check it out… (you’re welcome). Oh! And I entered one of my chicken eggs in the “oddest egg” contest and won a second place ribbon. Sadly, my honey didn’t win… as I had to transfer the honey to a different container last minute (it’s a long story) and in the process, it got 2 air bubbles in it… which isn’t good. You don’t want any air bubbles in the honey. Hoping for a ribbon placement next year!

Little Charlie Bear is no longer a baby. Where has the time gone!? He’s getting so big and independent, each day impressing me when what he knows or what he can do. Anyone else with multiple kids feel like it goes much, much faster with the last one!?
Such a fun day yesterday! Went white water rafting with the kids and my parents. The day couldn’t have been nicer… perfect 80 degree day, and the scenery was breathtaking. Charlie was the most thrilled with the rapids. Every splash that came in the boat and covered his head, you could hear him laughing hysterically! (And check out the last pic of Bodhi and the “potions” he found in the back of the bus ride back to our car 😜)
