Shandi Finnessey Instagram – Who knew when I said “yes” to judging #MissTXUSA that I would have one of the most enjoyable weekends I’ve had in a long time! Will, the director (and a friend), selected an incredible panel of judges who not only collaborated to find the best contender for the Miss USA title, but people who would truly enjoy being around each other for the process. I mean… what judges panel plans reunion trips!? 😜
Texas doesn’t play when it comes to pageants. These girls BROUGHT IT! From their hair/makeup, swimsuit bodies and gowns that deserve spots on the Miss Universe stage, Texas is a powerhouse! It was so thrilling meeting each of the young ladies vying for the title and I feel very confident in our choice, @misstxusa!
And the weekend wasn’t all work. Across the street from our hotel was a restaurant serving my indulgent favorites…. Raw oysters and caviar! So yes, I treated myself to that… and a nap afterward. And it was glorious. 🙌🏻
