Last month, we raised more than $20,000 for @4kira4moms’ Maternal Mortality Response Team, which helps families by providing them with resources and trauma support within 24 hours of the loss of a mother during childbirth. We’re also pushing for legislative change and we need your help to get the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act — AKA The Momnibus — passed at the federal level. ⁠ ⁠ The U.S. has the highest maternal mortality rate among high-income countries, and Black women are FOUR TIMES more likely to die of pregnancy-related issues and complications than white women. We refuse to stay silent on the issues impacting our community of parents, and we hope you’ll join us in advocating for policy change.
