Game day, we get to her dad’s house, can see the tix on his kitchen counter, but we are locked out. I had a decision to make. Is there really a choice?! I crawled in, and grew-up-poor Craigy Shoemaker got to sit in a luxury box at Dodger stadium for the WORLD SERIES! As luck would have it, the game was 1 of the most historic EVER. The Kurt Gibson home run against the then mighty A’s, and the top pitcher in baseball. When he hit that shot, against all odds, over the right field fence, the place erupted. Well, half the place, because typical for Los Angeles, many left early to beat the traffic! Lol. Morons. To add to this fantasy moment, was that the 4 guys in the box next to us, were some of the most famous in comedy history. During celebration, I found myself jumping up & down, hugging my idols, which added to the already epic moment. Now, a game for you… Name the 4 icons. Only hint – 2 were pretty much known for comedy, also stand-ups, and the other 2 had broad careers in movie acting. First one who can name them all, gets tix to one of my shows.
