This weekend was typical GT3 wheel-to-wheel action, which Hockenheim always caters to quite well. We suffered a lot in the very sharp, low speed hairpins, but were quick elsewhere on the lap which made for pretty dynamic racing. I took to the grass more than a few times, not for fun, but because our overtaking options were so limited. But I love that kind of problem solving in the car! The results were just ‘ok’, a 7th and a 10th, but the way we achieved them was simply lovely as some say.
And a big congratulations to the @emil_frey_racing pit crew, who not only set the fastest pitstop of the year this weekend, but were crowned Pitstop Challenge champions in their debut year! 🙌🏼
