Matthew Hussey Instagram – My mum is one of my favorite people on earth. There is an ocean between us for the majority of the year, but that means we are committed to making the time count whenever we are together. We always say that we probably spend more quality time together than most people who live on the same street. Today we are back in the same place, together in Florida for the 2023 MH Retreat which starts in a few days. Early this morning I got a text from her saying “I’m going to go get a coffee and go for a beach walk xx”. I was just about to start work, but instead I immediately texted her back and said “Order me one, I’m coming xx”. Work will always be there. There will always be more to do. We walked 2.2m along the beach as the sun rose, and I came back to my work feeling grateful, present and like nothing I’m stressing about mattered as much as it did an hour ago.
