Andrea Bordeaux Instagram – I filmed this video in January 2022, a few weeks before I got fired from ‘Run The World’. Nothing in my life was going according to plan and I was exhausted, wondering what the fuck I had gotten myself into when I decided to leave Los Angeles to finish converting my school bus in Texas.
In my most recent blog post, ‘Letter #3: Coming Home’, I talk about the experience of building the bus, getting fired from the show, and the deep healing that I experienced during the 6 months it took me to finish.
A few weeks after getting to Texas and experiencing major setbacks, being let down by the men I relied on, and dealing with newly unearthed Mother wounds, I realized that I was there for much more than a bus build. So, I chose to surrender to life and let it transform me, rather than collapse in on myself.

I’d forgotten that I filmed this video and I’m so glad that I did because I really needed me in that moment, and I’m needing me now as I’m facing new obstacles on a new journey that are making me wonder why the fuck I’m doing this.
I’m choosing to remember that I only get to be here once. I only get to be in this moment once. And what this moment is giving me is so much greater than I can imagine.
