Home Actress Carson Meyer HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers October 2023 Carson Meyer Instagram - “You’ll never sleep again.” “Say goodbye to your freedom.” “It’s exhausting.” Who else had doom and gloom projected onto them during their pregnancy? I’ll never forget the people who said things like: “Your life is about to get so much more fun,” “Just you wait, every day is even sweeter than the next.” It felt so good to hear these messages, and these parents unknowingly taught me the most valuable lesson of parenthood: you get to co-create the experience you want to have and the energy that surrounds your family. Perspective is a choice. Perspective is everything. There’s been a video circulating IG attempting to normalize “hating motherhood” and I just don’t know how helpful that mindset really is? Besides, is it mothering you “hate” or is it the lack of support and appreciation our society gives mothers? If you know me, or have worked with me you know I like to keep it real and allow space for all the feelings to be felt. Some days are really hard and when we share our challenges we can feel less alone. However, if we choose to see ourselves as victims of this experience, then our perception becomes reality. What if we were to normalize motherhood as an absolute joy, a privilege and the greatest spiritual act of service?

Carson Meyer Instagram – Lou and her great grandmother Anna Lou.
Born ninety-four years and three days apart
✨
There are many ways in which I hope Lou takes after her namesake, starting with these perfectly manicured nails.
Carson Meyer Instagram – I recently asked my 93 year old grandmother if she breastfed my mother or if her mother breastfed her. “Oh heavens no” she said “ I didn’t know any mothers who breastfed and if they were they certainly weren’t talking about it or doing it in public!”

Predatory formula marketing has a long dark history (not just in the US) and these corporations are still hard at work convincing mothers that formula is the quick fix solution to their troubles. Influencers and celebrities are making money off of our breastfeeding challenges and it’s no secret that we live in a society that puts profit before people.

Although the WHO recommends breastfeeding until two years of age and beyond, a majority of babies don’t get breastmilk past six months. This is a reflection of a culture that is failing mothers.

When people say ‘breast is best’ it DOES NOT mean that breastfeeding mothers are superior. It simply means that breastmilk is the most nutritious substance you can give your baby. There’s an entire industry built on the propagation of the false equivalency that formula yields the same benefits as breastmilk. Every mother deserves to be informed.

World Breastfeeding Week is dedicated to doing just that! 💦 Drop your breastfeeding questions below I’d love to support you however I can.

P.s. I highly recommend the film The Milky Way for anyone wanting to learn more about this topic and the wonders of mothers milk.
