WVB8898… thank you for making life just that little bit harder for those who need the disabled parking space… maybe a cone should be placed on that spot that’s been thoughtfully left there to make life easier for those needing the space to get wheelchairs in and out of their vehicles….? @thestarlingmall ? Because truth be known placing cones on the parking spots makes life really difficult if the disabled driver is alone. Think about that…

Remember my previous post on a car parked at a NON DESIGNATED spot at @thestarlingmall? Well, this happened again at 10:53am on weds the 16th August 2023. #BQK7227 seriously- there are soooooo many other parking lots available. Why…? Why would u do this? 🙄

Bottom line, you just speking English like you own it and they will takut to continue. Bo layan.

PSA This just happened to me and I shared with my mum. So PLEASE BE AWARE everyone. #doNOTclick on anything via WhatsApp or anything! I did NOT. It was a pop up msg on my home screen. Even had “… that you requested” “use this 6 digits to continue using your WhatsApp” I was a little panicked so I didn’t take a screenshot but thankfully dodged a bullet.

Hungry ghost diner @hungryghostdiner is a beautifully crafted piece that dives into the delicate relationships we have with our parents and those that have left us. Perfect mise en scène. Perfect juxtapositions of music laid down. It reminded me that no matter what race or religion we belong to, that those before us should not be forgotten. I learnt that it’s the lost souls that become hungry ghosts when forgotten, tormented by unsatiated hunger as they gorge ourselves with food and material matters, like haunting the living. Contrary to our other horror piece Rahsia that’s playing now that is just heart stopping terrifying, @wejuncho’s HGD draws us into this world of hungry ghosts roaming aimlessly, where people moved quietly, set during the height of the pandemic- even the policemen were gentle and kind. All the actors gave solid performances. Especially the female lead down to the police. Little Bonnie made me cry for my own child. I noticed the very “bahasa”bahasa translation, and the jump of lines of English n malay at one point, even the “Kamsiah”… but That’s just me being pedantic. HGD is a quiet ‘horror’ film- heart wrenching but laced with much humour, respect and love. Yes I cried a lot. I also learnt that we watched this film aptly on THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH OF HUNGRY GHOST!! 😱😱😱. Thank you for this gorgeous piece @wejuncho Well done to the whole team! I LOVED IT so much I am giving FREE tickets out! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 STAY TUNED FOR QUIZ #siapacepatdiadapat

I’ve watched 2 #malaysianmade horror in the span of one week. @shamyl123 ‘s #rahsia2023 & the award winning @hungryghostdiner by @wejuncho Both executed completely different and both deserve bums on seats. HGD has less screenings now, so PLEASE go watch ASAP!
