The end to the 2023 season has looked a little bit different this year. I’ve spent the last few weeks training, but really it’s been about having some fun and trying new things in the gym, a little bit of rehab and letting my body reset after the season. My current breakfast of choice is Mango Chia overnight oats. Makes 2 serves Blend together: 200ml milk 200g yoghurt 1 mango diced 1 scoop @trueprotein Drizzle of honey Add blended mix to: 20g oats 15g chia seeds (In each container/pot) Give it a good stir then place in the fridge overnight. When ready to eat top it with yoghurt, your favourite fruit and toasted nuts, I picked blueberries and almonds, and a little more honey. Feels right now….. I have made the very tough decision to end my 2023 season and head home. After suffering a small calf tear in round 6 of the World Championships Final I tried my best to recover and be ready for Brussels DL, but my body has said no. I feel like I never really got to show my best throw this year which really hurts, but I have been fighting all season and it’s time for me to rest and recover.
