* 1 Sprig – Curry leaves : Powerful antioxidant, Excellent for hair and skin
* 1 inch – Cassia stick : Improves insulin sensitivity, aids digestion 
* 1/2 Tbsp Grated Ginger – Aids in digestion, improves immunity
* 1 cup – Beetroot : Contains potassium, iron, magnesium, manganese, sodium, zinc,copper,selenium, folate
* 1 cup –  Carrot :  Conatins Beta carotene, Alpha-carotene, Lutein,  Lycopene, Polyacetylenes, Anthocyanins, Potassium, Biotin, Viatmin A, Vit B6, Vit K

On a serious note, it’s been a while since I have had the luxury to enjoy a good cup of Chai without the feeling of uneasiness and bloating. It has been a tough 4 months for me with managing my health and there is still a long way to go. Like my doctor says “Parvathy you are a work in progress”. If I have realised anything through this lifestyle change, it is that our body needs to be worshiped like a temple, we need to pay close attention to the signs our body is giving us and we need to absolutely respect the body’s synchronicity with nature; after all we too are made of the “Panchamahabhootas” or simply put The 5 elements – Earth 🌏, Fire 🔥, Wind 🌀, Water 💦 and Space 🌌. While I learn to unlearn my not so good habits, I can now enjoy a few of my indulgences once in a while, with utmost gratitude and the view this evening just made me realise how beautiful nature can be even in the chaos that we are surrounded with 😇
