Bryan Fuller Instagram – I had all good intentions of a mild makeover of our @bmwmotorrad #R18 motorcycle but I got a little more crazy than expected. This is a gorgeous bike but to keep it within standards of the European laws there is a lot of extra stuff in there. I decided to convert it to an @morrismagneto and carburetors so the wiring can become almost non existent. This really opens up the under seat area and cleans everything up so it looks vintage. @coneeng mufflers look the part and are coming together quickly into a tidy little exhaust system. Hoping to put @beringerbrakes_usa on here they’re so gorgeous and I believe the front mounting is a common pattern which helps. @buchananspokes is lacing up the wheels with stock hubs so we can use the front end and rear drive system stock. I’m using @cokertireco 23” early reproductions to keep that vintage profile and size for the antique proportions most classic / modern interpretations lack. I’m really digging this machine and hope to have it ready for mock-up display @barbermuseum Vintage Festival coming up October 8-10 weekend! Don’t miss this one such a fun time we go every year.
