Craig Shoemaker Instagram – 6 wks ago we rescued Buffy from a local shelter. She was in there for several months, longest of any dog. Can’t imagine the PTSD an animal must have, when locked in a cement cage, surrounded by 24/7 barking. We were there for an hour and it drove me insane. I would have spilled secrets to the enemies if I had to be there longer! Buffy bonded w/me & my younger kids, Jackson & Chloe, as if we were meant to be a family all along, apparently scripted by a love/light source/force of magnificent destiny. In other words – she licks, then sticks, now part of the Shoemaker mix. Considering the upheaval me & the children have been forced to manage, I’m not sure if it’s Buffy or us who was rescued. This pic was taken just now, me reclined, doing some work one-handed, the other extending TLC to our sweet, beautiful girl.
