They are tearing down the Tropicana, and I wanted to perform there one last time, but it falls on the night of Stevie’s concert at the Forum in Los Angeles. Amazing seats. So many memories of that old casino, starting with meeting Rodney Dangerfield, backstage, with him snorting cocaine off of two naked women. He turned to us young comedians, and said, “do you know why I do this? Because I CAN!” Another time, an audience member had a seizure in the middle of my show. They carried them out on a chair above heads, like groom at a Jewish wedding. Let’s create some last memories next week.
