Great history swipe from @prageru. Maybe now you’ll think twice about chanting “free Palestine.”

This is what happens when a generation eats Tide Pods. Marching for Hamas while loudly claiming “Osama had a point!”
For reference, if you want to read the “Letter to America” by Osama, I’ll save you some time. It’s not some deep, thoughtful piece. It’s typical recycled left-wing garbage about identity politics, “colonialism”, and “Jews are bad.” The fact that some young people find it “mind blowing” is proof of mindlessness and nothing else.
You need to do some serious soul-searching if you can read stories like these and still scream “fReE pAlEsTiNe!!!!”
These stories are extremely graphic, but they need to be shared. We keep saying that this is who Hamas really is, but too many blatantly ignorant people are refusing to listen. It’s almost like they don’t want this false image they’ve created to be shattered, but it’s time to wake the hell up.
And before you start screaming AGAIN about “needing proof”, @JotamConfino points out that this is an ongoing investigation… these are real victims, with real families. Have some damn respect and let them mourn while law enforcement finds the monsters who did this.

Hey #freepalestine crowd, answer these questions real quick ☝️☝️
There’s a serious problem with our education system when all it takes is one letter from a terrorist to “blow your mind” or “totally change your perspective.”
It means you had no perspective to begin with, and probably not much of a mind either.
Foundational education is important. But teachers think they’re being “edgy” by starting out with the exceptions instead of the rules. The end result is a bunch of kids that have no context or frameworks through which to view the world.

Hilarious clip for your friends at church today.
@peteholmes gets to a critical point in a funny way: what’s more realistic? That the unbelievable complexities of life just evolved accidentally from a random collection of proteins which randomly came together after randomly being created by…nothing?
Or God?
This is a really pathetic display of leadership. Let’s not forget that Gavin Newsom was also mayor of San Francisco from 2004-2011… I guess the well-being of his city didn’t matter then either.
Today we recognize those who stepped up to serve and defend this country, and the sacrifices that were made to protect our freedoms.
Never forget.

Repost from @fuckjerry, because it’s hilarious
Happy Veterans Day everyone! Try not to get kicked out of a dinner party tonight please.🙏 😂😂
@arthurcbrooks lays out the “Dark Triad” of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. People who exhibit all three traits are rare in our personal lives, but unfortunately they are vastly overrepresented in politics and media. They almost always portray themselves as victims of evil forces which they are constantly battling. And they declare that the entire world will burn unless YOU pledge them your undying loyalty, attention, vote, and money. You can find these kinds of “leaders” riddled throughout the history of civilization, and their power over people almost always flames out, but unfortunately not before they can do some real damage to society. Don’t let them fool you.
This is a short clip from my latest Hold These Truths podcast with Arthur where we cover a lot more about the psychology of political movements, how fear is used as a tool to outrage and manipulate people, and how to preserve your happiness and sanity throughout all of it.
8 million illegal crossings and counting — more than the population of many US states.
Republicans need to stop arguing about other bullshit and focus on one thing: getting border security policy in exchange for more Ukraine aid. That’s our only leverage. Anyone telling you otherwise is telling you they don’t want border security.
Thank you to the Texas Medical Center and their CEO Bill McKeon for hosting my 5th annual Healthcare Innovation Summit last night. Thank you to the speakers who flew in from across the country to share their cutting-edge work on the new frontiers of healthcare. And thank you to the hundreds of attendees who spent three hours on a Monday evening with us.
Innovation is fundamentally the most important aspect of healthcare. If we don’t find the cures, build the breakthrough medical devices, or design the perfect therapies, then it doesn’t matter what kind of healthcare system we have. So the point of the Healthcare Innovation Summit is to highlight and honor some of the leading startups, entrepreneurs, and researchers in healthcare, and give them an audience of investors and medical professionals who can help take their work to the next level. The greatest problems we face – from diabetes to cancer to Alzheimer’s – will be solved because a few smart people partnered with a few rich people and decided to change the world.
This year’s honorees included Dr. Andrea Vidali ( @endometriosis_surgeon ), who received the Susan Carol Crenshaw Healthcare Innovation Award for his advancements in Robotic Excisional Endometriosis Surgery. Dr. Vidali’s research has given countless women the gift of motherhood, and my own daughter Suzy Crenshaw is here today because of him.
We heard from Mike Ambrogi on how Novocure is using electric fields to treat cancer. Elizabeth Garner, MD-MPH talked about how @ferringpharmaceuticals is using artificial intelligence to assist with fertility technology. Dr. John Cassidy presented on @nexushealthsystems new multidisciplinary approaches to treating individuals suffering from traumatic brain injury. And finally, Tim Miller and Jacob George, PhD showed how Biologic Input Output Systems is harnessing the power of neural pathways to give amputees the feeling of responsive robotic limbs.
It was a wildly educational evening thanks to these speakers. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to join us and to the Texas Medical Center staff who helped make this event a huge success. I can’t wait for next year’s summit.
