People who exhibit all three traits are rare in our personal lives, but unfortunately they are vastly overrepresented in politics and media. They almost always portray themselves as victims of evil forces which they are constantly battling. And they declare that the entire world will burn unless YOU pledge them your undying loyalty, attention, vote, and money. You can find these kinds of “leaders” riddled throughout the history of civilization, and their power over people almost always flames out, but unfortunately not before they can do some real damage to society.
