How fortunate, (fortune) I was to work with Ron Cephas Jones. There was an intensity and an ease to him, always humor, always generosity. As a theatre artist, we will have to content ourselves with memory but his TV and film legacy are present and make us feel almost as if he were still in the room. I will cherish that.

We are up against some real heartless people. An anonymous studio executive recently told the entertainment news outlet Deadline that “the endgame is to allow things to drag on until union members start losing their apartments and losing their houses.” That is not negotiation. That is simply annihilation. Remember, these executives are sometimes making more than $100 million.
