We started playing the Friends theme song during intermission and I could hear the crowd singing along. A special moment remembering our favorite ‘friend.
I spent some time with Mathew a while back and got to know him intimately. He was so kind and full of insight always giving me helpful advice. I’ll miss watching episodes of LOST with you buddy, thank you for giving this world more laughs and joy than you could have ever imagined.

I have realized over the past few years that I am a slow and methodical choreographer. It became frustrating before I accepted my current process.
Seeing other friends and creatives bust out routines in minutes, I would ask myself “dang, why can’t I do that?”
I would start to doubt my ability, instincts and over all worth as a creative.
However, some of my favorite things I have created and been a part of have been over these past few years, with this new long, slow and often frustrating process I’ve been putting myself through.
I guess what I’m getting at is, trust your instincts. It’s ok to be to take your time. If you have a vision stick with it. Surround yourself with people who help support your ideas and who encourage you even when you doubt yourself.
Trust your vision.
Having a vision is like possessing a compass, it guides your steps, shapes your journey, and transforms your dreams into a reality.

Traveling around to all these theaters got me in my musical theater feels. One of the first songs I learned growing up was “Why God Why” from Miss Saigon. All my cast hear me singing through the hallways and in my dressing room. Sorry bout that 🎶
