Tom Randall Instagram – Many thanks to @wildcountry_official & @valle_orco_climbing_festival for hosting me, Pete, Mari & Talo this past week. This festival is the one thing on the European circuit that I look forward to more than most as it’s so flippin’ good! Yes it’s well run, yes it’s a weekend of long nights and dancing, but most importantly it’s set in Orco Valley which is home to some of the best trad climbing and cracks in Europe.
Me and Pete came here a lot from 2007-2012 as there were so many FAs to do, but really we barely scratched the surface. Nowadays there are 8a’s all over the place and classics like Greenspit are rivalled by many others just as good eg some of the new stuff by @jacopolarcher 🙌
Also a big shout to the Wild Country brand and family of staff who’ve supported me and Pete for going on 15yrs. It’s always been fun, the kit is amazing and they’re fully psyched. The @wide_boyz Crack Schools we did this past weekend were yet another thing they were cool to help make happen.
Finally – Le Fonti Refugio. Legends!!! This festival is a massive amount of work and it couldn’t be what it is without them.
