The alcohol industry, my personal journey with alcohol and some sexy statistics that’ll blow your mind. What’s not to love? Jokes aside, I am incredibly nervous to talk so publicly about my decision to stop drinking. I explain in this article why this feeling of shame around it is so common, with people either assuming you’re an alcoholic and choosing to look the other way, embarrassed but also a little angry that you’re suggesting that they should look at how much they drink. WE STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH @sagaftra ✊🏼 Proud to stand with @equityuk today in solidarity with our @sagaftra colleagues. We do NOT want our faces and voices to be replaced with technology. We want the right to ask for change. We want the BILLIONS of pounds and dollars that are going into the pockets of the 1% (CEO’s of all your streaming platforms etc) to be shared and divided and paid to the deserving creatives who MAKE them that money. We want fair residuals to be incorporated into NEW and FAIR contracts. We want everyone to understand that actors/writers/artists are pouring millions into the economy. So pay creatives what they deserve so that it can be called a LIVING (a clue is in that word.) For thousands of artists it’s an unliveable life, because of the inhumane and unempathtic arrogance and greed of some big bosses sat in big offices. Well the time is up. Change is a foot and I couldn’t be more up for the fight. Respect to all on strike in America. ✊🏼
