Home Actress Dawn McCoy HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers November 2023 Dawn McCoy Instagram - In honor of World Children’s Day today, yesterday I moderated a panel with United Nations Association Los Angeles and the Ruth Weiss Foundation at UCLA with inspiring leaders of change in the lives of children. I was so proud that not only I was able to represent @LovingWayFoundation - but was joined by our board member, Christina Zilber @czjouer, Founder of @jouercosmetics and @unicef Ambassador. We were also joined by @Disney writer & children’s advocate, @shruthimathur and Jerry Cimino, director of The Beat Museum. The panel conversation intentionally and thoughtfully dove deep throughout and I concluded the candid conversation with this question… “What event or circumstance have you lived through that many would deem unlivable?” I chose this because, yes, my son and I have survived the impossible - but more so to provide hope to those women and children who are living through the seemingly impossible as we speak. Life happens both to us and for us. When we’re in the midst of trauma, there’s no other way to feel than the acts are being committed “to” us or “against” us. But after…in the healing process… For many of us - and all of us on this panel - there’s a shift - In belief, I suppose, more than anything else. A shift to believe… That out of what was done TO us we can choose to move forward by looking for how it can work FOR us and help us help others navigate their trauma through our own experience and heart. I am so honored to have been part of the conversation yesterday… And I look forward to where the continuing conversation will carry us. UCLA - James Bridges Theater
