SHOOTING FOR ‘Palm Springs LIFE’ MAGAZINE…
SO excited to be asked to shoot for this incredible publication, highlighting all the amazing things to do around the city with @shopelpaseo!! I’ve done many magazine covers and spreads for Yoga & Fitness over my 2 decade career, but today was my first high fashion editorial shoot!! And I couldn’t be MORE excited that this content will feature me as a ‘Travel & Longevity Lifestyle Expert’!!
A huge thankyou to @shopelpaseo , @desertsprings @iamdawnmccoy and so many more for helping to make this experience possible!
🫶🏻As much as I LOVE creating and innovating the fitness & wellness space… I ALSO love putting these skills into ACTION by exploring the World, learning all about new places & helping people understand that my blueprint for ‘traveling like a local’, allows you to deeply EXPERIENCE a place through history, food, architecture, people and more! Travel with me, and you’ll NEVER be a ‘tourist’ again!!
So stay tuned for this spread… (coming in January), AND for updates on my dream travel show I’ve envisioned that is FINALLY in development!! YES!! All those adventures you’ve followed me on this past year abroad were each a step toward bringing my dream to life!! and those of you coming on my 2024 Retreats MAY get an extra bonus!! 🤫
All links to my retreat are LIVE in my linktree right here in my @instagram bio!! Come fly with me!!
Who loves French food 🥖🇫🇷 and is 4 years old today??
My pal Waylon!
He is tougher than nails and sweeter than crème brûlée, and he lights up my — and many other people’s — life.
That he’s here at all is both a miracle and a blessing to the world.
Santé! to his first 4, and to many, many more!
(I just posted a birthday update on his GoFundMe. Just click the link in my bio to read it.)

In honor of World Children’s Day today, yesterday I moderated a panel with United Nations Association Los Angeles and the Ruth Weiss Foundation at UCLA with inspiring leaders of change in the lives of children.
I was so proud that not only I was able to represent @LovingWayFoundation – but was joined by our board member, Christina Zilber @czjouer, Founder of @jouercosmetics and @unicef Ambassador.
We were also joined by @Disney writer & children’s advocate, @shruthimathur and Jerry Cimino, director of The Beat Museum.
The panel conversation intentionally and thoughtfully dove deep throughout and I concluded the candid conversation with this question…
“What event or circumstance have you lived through that many would deem unlivable?”
I chose this because, yes, my son and I have survived the impossible – but more so to provide hope to those women and children who are living through the seemingly impossible as we speak.
Life happens both to us and for us.
When we’re in the midst of trauma, there’s no other way to feel than the acts are being committed “to” us or “against” us.
But after…in the healing process…
For many of us – and all of us on this panel – there’s a shift –
In belief, I suppose, more than anything else.
A shift to believe…
That out of what was done TO us we can choose to move forward by looking for how it can work FOR us and help us help others navigate their trauma through our own experience and heart.
I am so honored to have been part of the conversation yesterday…
And I look forward to where the continuing conversation will carry us. UCLA – James Bridges Theater

Hey, Texas friends…
We’ll be coming to Austin the end of November for a therapy intensive for Waylon…
And we’ll be in Dallas the week of December 18th for the holidays…
So we’re considering hosting a “Friends of @LovingWayFoundation” cocktail hour in each city as our “WAYvember: 30 Days to $30k for Loving Way” continues.
If you’re interested in attending – or co-hosting – one of our events, please DM me or comment below – we’re thinking 11/28 or 11/29 in Austin and 12/20, 12/21 or 12/22 in Dallas.
Would love to gauge interest and hear your thoughts as to venues, timing and programming – and cannot WAIT to see y’all and see how we can best effect change for our babies, children and families of child abuse victims.🩵🩷

In Dallas for just 76 hours and 1 shoot but still managed to fit in some heart-filling friend time, thanks to these lovely ladies –
@hfergjewels & @kateswaildesigns – rearranging their schedules to make cocktail hour happen at Sadelle’s. 💚
Love this little trio of support, love, positive energy, inspiration, ideation and encouragement.
Leaving Dallas feeling DELICIOUSLY grateful for work I love…
Friends who show up…
And a sweet little boy back home who was on his happiest, best behavior while Mama had to fly to work.

p.s. Plumb smitten with Sadelle’s in Highland Park Village – its decor matches Loving Way’s colors!!🩵🩷 Sadelle’s Highland Park
