Try this plant-based and delicious homemade jam on any toasts, pancakes, or on any plant-based yogurts oatmeal!๐ฅ๐
(Itโs a perfect addition to your 30 day plant-based pledge also! Make it at the beginning of the week and add to dishes as you go๐ฑ)
Ingredients:
2 cups of your favorite berries.
1 tbs chia seeds
2 tbs water
1/4 cup coconut sugar
Instructions
1. Rinse the berries, then cut strawberries into halves or quarters.
2. Place them in a pot then add chia seeds, water and sugar. Mix everything well.
3. Bring the berries to boil on high heat then reduce heat to medium, and let the berries simmer while stirring from time to time.
4. The jam is ready when it has a sticky gel consistency.
5. Let it cool then place it in a jar to preserve.
Note – Do not leave this mixture unattended on the stove, as it will burn very quickly. Stir constantly!
