Today, #TeamR3VOLVE and Pere Cico stepped up to provide meals for 500 families enduring the fallout of devastating gang violence. Yet, this is only a fraction of those in need. In Haiti, having a home is the cornerstone to stability for families. Most homes are passed down generation to generation.
Right now, 9,000 families in our region alone have been violently displaced from their homes. Across Port-au-Prince, over 150k families are living in camps for displaced persons, with an additional 200k families unaccounted for.
