This summer, I set a goal for myself to become a more athletic swimmer so I feel more confident diving into the ocean off the back of the boat when I'm sailing with Manu. I've heard that it takes 21 days for a practice to become a habit, so I've committed to swimming for ten minutes or more every single day for 21 days. Some days I loved jumping in the pool and some days I entered hating it because it was late...and I was tired...and the pool felt freezing! But as I swam across the pool I kept telling myself "find the thing I love at this moment," and I know it's cheesy to say, but every single time I got out of the pool I felt better!! I’m on day 23 day of my swimming challenge and feel myself getting stronger every day.
