On Veterans Day, Brigadier General Laura Clellan and I united to honor Sergeant First Class William Montgomery with a Purple Heart for the injuries he endured in service to our country.
Heroes like Sergeant First Class Montgomery faced unimaginable challenges and willingly put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
