Lucy Luna Instagram – Actors are drawn to compelling characters and good story. Directors look for good scripts to direct. We arrive to set and PAs have already printed the sides of the day. Long tone meetings for each department to hear from the writer what makes sense story-wise. Makeup and costume designers have asked me to approve a certain color or shade and their thinking process is based on the script. We’re ALL storytellers. All jobs are important. It takes a village. And if it all starts with a script, why is it so hard to get fair compensation? We’re not asking for A-listers salaries. We just want to get paid. I love writing more than I can express.
