This past year I did things I never thought I would. From overcoming fears to making hard decisions. It was a year of purge, liberation, communication with my body, tenderness, and love. Not all of it was easy, but one day, “easy” came to me. And wow, I’ve forgotten how that felt like. Not to say things should always be easy, but not everything has to be so difficult to have value. We don’t have to constantly fight or struggle to earn what we want, or to be deserving. Yes, “hard” is part of life. But so is rest, and peacefulness, and stillness. I guess what I’m trying to say is that life is about balance. I think I found that balance. Not sure if that’ll change tomorrow, but today I embrace Easy as much as I embrace Hard. 💚
