Dashiell and I were fifty feet up on the side of a tree and I looked at Dashiell and said, “ I have to be honest, I’m not sure I can do this”. He looked at me and said, “ You got this Mom. Take a deep breath and don’t look down”. So I let him lead in that moment. He was a great leader. He was calm and kind and helped me through the tough moment but he also pushed me. Afterward, he told me not to feel bad.. everyone is afraid of something. Here he is leading the way. You’re a great leader Dashiell and you have always been an incredible teacher.
