Email Foreign Minister @senatorpennywong to call for an immediate ceasefire by all parties to end civilian bloodshed.

Me: Over 40% of those killed in Gaza are children, women and the elderly. THESE ARE CHILDREN…..yet our bystander outrage has not yet become humanitarian action from our government….The Australian Government has NOT yet called for a ceasefire.

Waking up to images of children dying everyday while our representatives refuse to join the majority of the rest of the world and call for a ceasefire is beyond heartbreaking 💔 how will we ever be able to look back on this with anything but horror as Australia stood by…. stopped short of calling for a ceasefire , a word that could give humanitarian agencies like @amnestyaustralia a chance to get aid into Gaza

There are no “sides “ anymore. It’s a humanitarian CRISIS….an URGENT NEED for humanitarian aid , with almost half the population of Gaza UNDER THE AGE OF 15 …they are running out of food and water- @doctorswithoutborders have reported they are horrifically short on medical supplies and fear for the safety of their medical staff

@amnestyaustralia , @plan_australia & other humanitarian agencies are ready to enter with supplies and help civilians particularly the huge percentage of children caught up in this ….BUT we have been told this CANT HAPPEN without a CEASEFIRE. No child – no matter where they are- or where they are from -or where they live -deserves this 💔
