After our long drive from Balmoral to Edinburgh, we were excited to get some rest and hit the ground running the next morning. Our first stop was #EdinburghCastle of course!
It’s a massive castle that sits on Castle Rock which was formed by a volcanic eruption millions of years ago!
This was once the royal home of Mary Queen of Scots and where she gave birth to her only child, James VI, whose coronation united Scotland and England.
