My handsome, adorable baby Tangerine turned 1 today 😍
A year ago today, we returned from our anniversary celebration in Bangkok to discover that our cat Baby had given birth, a little earlier than we expected. She had 3 babies – Tangerine, his sister Oreo and another who sadly didn’t make it 😪. Tangerine and Oreo are the youngest of the @tjsfurbies
Tangerine is so very affectionate, very much a Mama’s boy and not ashamed to show it.
Team @enfinitimy wore green at our HOD meeting today in solidarity with the people of Palest1ne. Praying for an end to the continous murder of innocent women, children and babies in Gaza. This is our Lagaan, our Laskar Pelangi. It’s a film with so much heart, and so who crafted by @jasonchong.sol – bravo, bravo, bravo @astroshaw @sangeeta_krishnasamy and every one of the incredible cast of this beautiful movie.
I always feel slightly emotional every time I watch this inflight safety video I created for @malaysiaairlines. Thinking back on how we put this together, I don’t know if it could have been different if we weren’t all in lockdown then, stuck at home with no work and dying for a creative outlet.
I remember several phone and zoom calls to @miapalencia in Australia to brief her on the concept (she got it immediately, the genius) texting everyone I wanted to have in the video (I really wanted a diverse representation of Malaysians of all colour and genre) numerous (nerve wracking 😆) presentations and justifications to @caa_malaysia, several versions of storyboards, recording vocals, production meetings (with my co-director @yusryabdhalim joining in on Zoom, down with Covid), set building, wardrobe fitting, then it was movement rehearsals, and BAM! shot this in a studio whilst still in the pandemic with the incredible bunch of people you see on screen as well as behind the scenes (thank you all again for being part of this!).
It’s a little surreal but it felt like something the entire country needed at the time, a little morale boost. Enfiniti’s little attempt to create a better Malaysia. Thank you again to @malaysiaairlines for being open to this crazy idea, and for allowing me the creative freedom to this for you. And thanks so much to all of you who show so much appreciation for it, I love you all 💜
