Chris Burkard Instagram – A small 35mm point & shoot often accompanies me on most of my expeditions for those intimate moments that I want to remember… and sometimes those turn out to be my favorite images…. Got thousands of em stored away. Over the fall during an incredible ride with @maap.cc in the highlands, I didn’t have room for much else in my bags so these are my analog memories from a couple of rolls. Reminds of how it used to be when I first started photography, can’t immediately see your shot and you hope the settings line up with a bit of nerves before you see the scans. Now it’s a memory bank for me whether it’s on the bike or a special day with my boys.
Chris Burkard Instagram – I’m fortunate in my life that moments of awe & wonder tend to happen rather frequently and I find lots of excitement in each of them… but sometimes the deeper meaning comes later upon reflection that inevitably happens this time of year for me. Here are a few of those of moments from 2023, the only thing better than the experience is getting to share it with others real time or in the form of photography… something that continues to be special every year that passes by. #NatGeoPOY23
