Robbie Williams Instagram – Seen as the age question was a hot topic in the comment section. It got me thinking. Im 49 but what age do I feel? Well, I feel 38. Not so long ago I felt 32 BUT I wasn’t coming to the end of a tour back then. Who knows, with a few days off I may revert to feeling 32.Im defo 38 right now though. Oh and pls don’t try and guess the 3 gigs where me and the audience didn’t connect. You’re getting it wrong, And guessing some gigs that I REALLY enjoyed and that’s making me rethink them.😊 Let’s put it this way, none of them were on this leg of the tour. I’ve noticed about touring. You can not enjoy a particular show and think that that’s what that particular town/city is like. But then come back to the same venue next time and have the gig of your life. Sometimes it’s just whatever the universal maths for that evening add up to. And there’s nothing you can do about it. I tell you what is odd though. Getting to a venue. Not being too tired or scared but just not wanting to do it. like ‘’Ah, fuck’’ this massive thing is about to happen and I don’t want it to. Not only that, it’s gonna happen anyway. Can you imagine *announcement made on the venue speakers* ‘’Sorry guys, you can all go home, Robbie just didn’t want to do it. He said he couldn’t be arsed, Merch still available though’’ You’ll be glad to know. As I was, I loved both of the gigs that I didn’t want to do.
