Robbie Williams Instagram – So many comments yesterday about asking someone their Occupation and Age. Still don’t think anyone explained why it’s rude to ask a woman her age, I may be wrong though. Im 49 and a Popstar BTW. Separate to age/job. I read the other day someone saying ‘’There are no bad audiences just bad performances ‘’ or something like that. This wound me up. It was an anonymous message somewhere. Nothing to do with me or about me. Anyway, There are bad audiences so that’s bollocks. I’ve done 80ish shows on this tour. And I’ve had 3 bad audiences. I won’t say where because people get offended and I’ll probably go back💅 3 out of 80! not bad. It’s Grim being up there and the audience not connecting. Live performance is terrifying at the best of times. But to be up there and get nothing back completely sucks the life out of you. I tend to get angry. you won’t see it because I have a job to do. I am professional and I pride myself on never ‘’Phoneing it in’’ if anything I try harder. But ‘’Getting angry’’ if I look at it from the outside, is an interesting response. I suppose it’s because im vulnerable and extremely exposed. So I guess im scared. Which is what anger really is, isn’t it? When me and Ayda fall out. Her tears are her fear and anger is mine. Anger really is men’s tears. It’s ‘us’ crying. But it doesn’t illicit the same response. I wish it did. When im angry I need a cuddle more than any other time. We don’t have many big disagreements.Maybe one a year. But when we do I always think if I cried now I’d get a cuddle but im doing anger so it’s impossible.
