Yes meditation is one of the most powerful tools for growth and wellness, however if you’re finding it stressful to meditate, it is clearly counterproductive 😄
Here are a few tips to help you meditate:
1. Start with a breathing exercise, breath is a wonderful bridge to meditation. Even 6 deep breaths can make a difference.
2. If you truly have too many thoughts, engage in a short workout first before meditating, the mild tiredness will help you relax into meditation quicker.
3. Stop fighting thoughts!! Yes this is probably the best tip i can give you, allow your thoughts to flow, we cannot silence them. What we can do is not engage with them, instead, watch them drive by, don’t get on the train!
