But for many remote communities dito sa Pinas, wells, rivers and springs remain to be primary water sources. 💧 This can introduce complications created by unclean or contaminated water, which can lead to sickness and, in severe cases, the loss of life. I was giddy at the opportunity to take part in a community outreach with @wavesforwaterphilippines at Brgy Calo, Lobo Batanagas, where water filter equipment was donated by @hm. Everytime you shop at a H&M and opt to buy a paper bag for 2php, these proceeds go directly to Waves for Water projects that provide access to safe and clean drinking water for communities all over the country. 💙🇵🇭 Aside from teaching the families and community leaders how to properly operate their filters, as well as the education behind clean drinking water, we also taught the local children how to properly wash their hands using donated hand washing stations. 😊 To learn more about the work that @wavesforwaterphilippines does you can visit www.wavesforwater.org 💧 Thanks for reading 🤗 Calo, Nasugbu, Batangas
