Constance Zimmer Instagram – At the beginning of this year I got to direct my first feature, but I couldn’t talk about it when it premiered because of the strike. So here we are on #femalefilmmakerfriday, after we finally ratified our new contract! This was indeed a learning experience on so many levels, some not as fun as others if I’m being honest, but working with these actors was a gift. We were all in it together through the good, the bad and the insane snowstorm that hit us while shooting, when we were supposed to be a Summer release. Thank you to @lifetimetv and to my actors for your trust. Thank you for showing up everyday with a positive attitude determined to do your best, despite some of the circumstances. This was mine and Lifetime’s first ‘Thriller,’ so thank you for showing up to watch, jumping at all the right times and shouting at the characters on your TV. #filmschool (not pictured, but also praised @jacefleming @aprilambertelek @bebeyanaweit)
