Dawn McCoy Instagram – Happy Birthday to our @LovingWayFoundation loving & fearless founder, Dawn McCoy @iamdawnmccoy! 🎂🎂🎂 (Note that VERY special Loving Way-themed cake with our logo on it that her Dallas friends had specially made). 🩵🩷 Dawn is currently in Austin this week with her 4-year-old son, Waylon (also known as the namesake “Way” of our foundation name), where he is being treated in a therapy intensive for his extensive traumatic brain injury caused by child abuse. Even in the throes of a rigorous therapy week, Dawn found time to host a “Friends of Loving Way – Austin” event last night, hosted by @lodgewell at the historic Stanley House in downtown Austin where she spread our message of child abuse prevention and support of our child abuse survivors and their families and caregivers.
