May humanity prevail and move our souls to now consider what this mean for civilians in Gaza and why we must call for ceasefire to safe lives and our humanity. As someone who fled war, it pains me to watch captive people unable to escape being carpet-bombed. May our compassion for human life compel us to work towards a peaceful resolution to this horrific tragedy that has existed for decades and bring about peace for those who have suffered tragic losses.
