Jessica Oyelowo Instagram – The @sagaftra strike is over so I can post about @lawmenbassreeves 🥳🥳🥳 This is my first post because this is my favorite pic of @davidoyelowo that I took while we were shooting. It was hot, they were wearing woolen costumes, but the joy of riding alongside @tosin.morohunfola and #forrestgoodluck made everything amazing! David has been working on this project for 8 or 9 years in total. He saw a true overcoming hero in Bass Reeves and wanted to be part of telling his remarkable story. He has done that and then some. I had the privilege of producing the show alongside him and many other talented people. None of this is done alone, but someone has to lead the charge. My King David. You are astounding. Well done for never giving up on honoring Bass. Well done for starting with the right intention and finishing without flinching. Lawmen Bass Reeves has started streaming on @paramountplus.
